For Kids from Birth-Year 6 (K-Grade 5)

We’re excited about partnering with you to help your child grow in his or her relationship with Christ!

We have lots of opportunities for your child to learn about God’s amazing love in a fun, safe, age-appropriate environment.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

NURSERY (ages 0-36 months)

9:00 am & 11:00 am: Nursery/Toddler Room (Main Sanctuary building)

Nurturing caregivers host children from Birth to 36 months in a safe, welcoming environment.

Infant Room is also open for parent-supervised care, if required.

PRESCHOOL (ages 3-5/Reception)

9:00 am & 11:00 am: Preschool Zone (Main Sanctuary building) (2nd floor)

Preschoolers learn about God’s love for them

through games, crafts, stories, songs, prayer, and play.

PRIMARY-AGED CHILDREN (Year 1-Year 6/K-Grade 5)

9:00 am & 11:00 am: Children & Youth Centre (behind the Sanctuary building)

Children learn about and grow in God’s love through age-appropriate worship, prayer, missions, crafts, games, stories, and activities.

ADDITIONAL NEEDS SUPPORT TEAM

(FORMERLY GLOW - Special Needs Ministry)

Our Additional Needs Support Team serves our students with additional needs each Sunday morning at 9am and 11am in Preschool Zone and Kids’ Worship.

FRIDAY NIGHTS

KIDS’ NIGHT OUT (YEARS 1-6/K-GRADE 5)

6:30-8:00pm: Kids’ Night Out

Kids learn about the love, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ in community through Large Group Bible learning, Small Group life-application, and Games!

ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES

Join our email list (contact carla@cibaptist.ky) and watch church announcements for opportunities to grow in relationship with God and one another — such as Kids on Mission, Easter events, Vacation Bible School (July 13-27, 2026), Summer Nights, Child Dedication classes, Family Sundays, Gingerbread Bash, Year 6 Retreat, Fascar Family Night, Parents’ Night Out, family fellowship events, Promotion Sunday, and more!

SERVING IN CHILDREN’S MINISTRY @ CI BAPTIST CHURCH

We LOVE our Children’s Ministry team members, and we LOVE to help our kids to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ!

CIBC Children’s Ministry team members experience purpose, community, growing faith, and the privilege of sharing the Good News of Jesus with our children!

We also offer opportunities such as first aid training, Darkness to Light training, childcare/babysitting course and mentoring (for teen volunteers), volunteer appreciation events, opportunities to be continually equipped as a teacher/leader, an annual on-island Children’s Ministry conference, and more!
